I visited my dear blogger friend, Shortybear, {who now has had to design a new blog because her other one was hacked, is now known as Coco's Momma (Coco is her sweet canine friend)} and she inspired me with her decision to do this Challenge for April, that I should give this a try also, but over here on my MISSIONS blog instead of my main blog. The logical choice would be MISSIONS or prayers for the countries in the world ... however, I am following her lead, because our mission may be one of health concern/issues as well as other mission purposes.

With this in mind, I have chosen, like Denise has "Diabetes" ... one that I really need to become more aware of, educated and gain further understanding. So as I do, I decided that I would share that with you in this "A-Z Challenge" of blogging for this April. From what I read and saw at their website, they really have alot of people that do this and are experienced with this. However, since I'm late in joining, I also decided that I would not formally sign up on either their "Theme Reveal" link-up (that's gone by already anyways on March 21st, 2016) nor with their 7th Annual Sign-Up link list for this Challenge, since it's my first time too, just like "Shortybear". I'm not even going to share my Theme Reveal today ... you'll have to wait until April 1st, 2016. {if I like this, maybe I'll join in 2017 or 2018}

but I'll give you one hint

It does start with

Here's a brief description

"The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out, the A to Z Challenge is posting every day in April except Sundays (we get those off for good behavior.) And since there are 26 days, that matches the 26 letters of the alphabet. On April 1, blog about something that begins with the letter “A.” April 2 is “B,” April 4 is “C,” and so on. You can use a theme for the month or go random – just as long as it matches the letter of the alphabet for the day.

The A to Z Challenge is a great way to get into the blogging habit and make new friends. For more details and its history, go HERE"

Looking forward to this

it will help me
write more
over on

I decided long ago that our "mission" in life is like our purpose in life and that each one of us are designed to complete this. We are given a voice to share with others about issues in our world. Wherever we are and whatever we are doing, we have a call to a "mission" right where we are. It is a task or job given us to do and perhaps motivate others to join in our campaign to make our world a better place to live. Sometimes it involves social issues, or religious ones, and often personal ones - sometimes our 'mission' is a health concern or awareness that needs to be shared. Whatever it may be ... you and I were made to share it.

Thanks Denise
for inspiring me
once again

Africa Study Bible

Tyndale sent out emails asking us to help, so I am:
"Enter the Africa Study Bible, featuring Tyndale's New Living Translation, and built from the ground up by African theologians and pastors who see the critical need to make Scripture relevant to the everyday lives of their people. With the editorial (2,400 plus features, 350 writers and editors from 40 African countries and representing 50 denominations) nearly complete, we're only steps away from getting the ASB into the hands of millions of Africans but we need your help."
"Oasis International, the publisher of the ASB in partnership with Tyndale, is now working to raise one million dollars to print the first 100,000 study Bibles for Africa through private donations and a Kickstarter campaign. Will you help us spread the word about this project?"

"The Africa Study Bible is a Bible with study tools written by African pastors and scholars. Our goal is to increase the understanding of the Bible using African insights and experiences to meet the needs of the church in Africa and around the world.

The expression of this body is that the Africa Study Bible is to feed God’s people as we all need constant feeding from the source of life – God and his Holy Word. The African people should see themselves and their cultural context in the study notes. Our goal is that the notes will challenge and encourage the readers to live as God’s people in Africa. The Africa Study Bible is to concentrate on knowledge and application, teaching people how to apply truth to their specific situation. It should empower Jesus’ mandate to make disciples. The Africa Study Bible will help people make a link between biblical truth and life transformation.
“Pastors and scholars” will include ministry and lay-leaders who function as pastors and church leaders. “African” writers are defined as those who are African in knowledge, heart and voice.

After all,
what could be a better
making God's Word available
to many more
The KICKSTARTER will be April 18th - June 16, 2016

YWAM Mazatlan

I do not share enough on this blog
about the wonderful move of God's spirit through
Outreach Opportunities
available in this
ministries and missions
taking place with
the evangelism done right here
on a regular basis

"Get trained to be a missionary with YWAM.

If you’ve ever wanted to know how to become a missionary, there couldn’t be a better place to be! With a vision of waves of young people crashing all over the globe, Youth with a Mission (YWAM) is an organization and movement of over 18,000 Christian believers, in more than 1100 locations, in over 180 countries.

With over 50 years under YWAM’s belt, we specialize in training, evangelism, and sending out missionaries around the world. Our missionary training school’s at YWAM Mazatlan, Mexico are 5-month long, intensive discipleship training programs designed for you to be able to Know God, and Make Him Known. You are invited to join our family and to live alongside people from all walks of life that have come here for the same reason – to see God glorified in our lives and in the nations.

Come spend 3 months on our base, learning and growing in your relationship with God and partaking in missionary training. Then hit the road for 2 more months traveling around other parts of the world or Mexico to put your training into practice; using evangelism, bible teaching, and sharing God’s love though acts of service. Start your adventures and become a missionary today!

SONG: "Take Courage, The Harvest is Ripe"
Do a DTS -"

I could not be more thankful and blessed personally by this one in particular - YWAM of Mazatlan is very dear and special to me. Part of my prayers and answer to prayer many years ago. I was blessed to serve one semester with their DTS program by making myself available to teach English and Spanish to the students. It was I who receive the greatest blessing. And I am honored to see the growth and continuation under the great leadership of their Directors (and family of) Brent & Heather  with their newest added expansion of YWAM Ships! WOW!!!

I don't ever want to make this about me because it's truly ALL about God, His Kingdom and our Great Commission to see more souls saved by Jesus Christ! The vision of this YWAM base and its staff and students is awesome and truly inspired & touched by God's anointing. This is a corner of my world and the past 20 years of my life! YWAM (or JUCUM in Spanish) is just a continuation of God's hand from the beginning until the present of when I decided to "catch the wave" and how I marvel at His Grace and Divine Providence, truly a wonder when I try to comprehend this all yet I can see His fingerprints (or Footprints) throughout so much of my decisions to BE here. Only GOD! Only by His grace. {and maybe only I can see this part but it's an enormous blessing and confirmation over and over of God's Presence and benevolence. And so I am so grateful}

[The video is from last year (2015) and just a sample of some very wonderful means to reach more on their You Tube channel. My favorite ones are the "personal stories" of YWAM individuals like Cassandra, Bridgette, Edith, Yosef,  and many more. This is what feeds my passion and I continue to lift in prayer.]
